Commercial Emergency Roofing FAQs
What to do during an active leak and how our emergency response works — expand any question to dive deeper.
We understand that for a business, a leak isn’t just a leak, it’s a direct threat to your inventory, equipment, and operations. Our commercial emergency response is our highest priority. We are on call 24/7 and will dispatch a dedicated commercial service technician immediately after your call. Our goal is to be on-site as quickly as possible to perform damage control, protect your asset, and help you get back to business with minimal downtime.
Safety and damage mitigation are your immediate priorities. Instruct your on-site personnel to take the following steps while our crew is en route:
- Prioritize Safety: Cordon off the affected area to prevent slip-and-fall accidents. If water is near electrical equipment or lighting, shut off the corresponding circuit breaker immediately.
- Protect Assets: Move any sensitive electronics, valuable inventory, or critical machinery away from the leak. Cover anything that cannot be moved with waterproof tarps.
- Contain the Water: Use large buckets, trash cans, or plastic sheeting to catch and control the water, protecting your facility and the spaces below. Crucially, under NO circumstances should you or your staff attempt to go on the roof. It is extremely dangerous and a major liability risk.
Our process is built for business continuity. Upon arrival, we immediately work to stop the leak, either with a permanent repair or with a secure, temporary solution to prevent further intrusion. As we work, we act as your documentation expert: We take extensive photos and detailed notes of the failure point, the water’s path, and any affected interior assets. You receive a comprehensive service report that clearly outlines the cause of the emergency, the actions we took, and the evidence you need to file a robust, well-documented insurance claim and keep for your internal records.
