Whoever holds the policy authorizes the claim — owner, managing agent, or association board. We prepare the same evidence package either way and walk the authorized signer through the filing, so governance never slows the claim down.
No. Assessments happen from the roof — tenants rarely know we're there. Replacements run on a phasing plan with protected entries, tenant notices, and daily cleanup, scheduled around your operations.
No — a partial approval is a starting number. We re-document the roof, file line-item supplements, and push for re-adjustment. Code-required items (insulation, edge metal, drainage) belong in the claim scope, and we make that case with citations.
Denials usually trace back to thin first documentation. We re-inspect with moisture scans and storm-date weather data, rebuild the file, and represent you at the re-inspection. Forward the denial letter and we take it from there.
Your deductible can't legally be waived or absorbed by a contractor — anyone offering to "eat" it is proposing insurance fraud. After a hail and windstorm did some damage to my roof in 2025 I was in need of a roof replacement. I chose to use PRQ after extensive research because they have such a good reputation and great reviews online. And the A+ rating on BBB was quite helpful in my decision. The process to work with my insurance on the claim started in October 2025 and it was very helpful to have Tucker and Patrick helping with the coordination with the insurance adjuster. They helped decipher all of the "insurance lingo" and made sure I understood fully what was going on at all times, and were available and responsive when I had questions. Once the claim was approved I was introduced to Kyle, who has handled all of the phases of getting the work completed. He was very proactive with communication, and what I appreciated most was that I never felt I was out of the loop on anything.
