Roof repairs that fix the cause — not just the drip

A leak shows up ten feet from where it starts. PRQ traces the problem to its source, shows you photos of what we found, and gives you a written scope and price before any work begins — including an honest answer when a repair is all you need.

What we repair

Most roof problems start small and spread quietly — into decking, insulation, and drywall. Here's what we diagnose and fix.

Leaks & water intrusion

Water travels along decking and rafters before it ever stains a ceiling. We trace the leak to its actual entry point and fix it there — not where the drip lands.

Missing & wind-damaged shingles

Blown-off tabs, wind creasing, and broken seals let the next storm in. We replace damaged shingles with color-matched material, not a patchwork of mismatches.

Flashing, chimneys & skylights

Most leaks start at the transitions — chimney flashing, valleys, skylights, and pipe boots. Resealing and refabricating these is the highest-value repair on a roof.

Hail & storm damage

Storm repairs get photographed and dated as we work. If the damage turns out to be widespread and claim-worthy, you already have the documentation an insurance conversation needs.

Gutters & drainage

Sagging gutters, separated downspouts, and overflow points that push water back under the roof edge or against the foundation — repaired and re-pitched.

Decking & rot spot-repairs

Where a leak has been living for a while, we open it up, replace the compromised decking, and close it back to code — no roofing over rot.

How it works

  1. 01

    Tell us what you're seeing

A stain, a drip, shingles in the yard after a windstorm — book an assessment and tell us what's happening. Active leaks get priority on the schedule.

  2. 02

    We diagnose & document

A PRQ pro finds the source, photographs it, and writes up the scope with a price. You see exactly what's wrong before you approve anything.

  3. 03

    We fix it right

Matched materials, flashing done to code, and a clean site when we leave. If the roof needs more than a repair, we tell you that instead of selling you one.

Repair or replace? You'll get the honest math.

Most roofs we assess need a repair, not a replacement — and we'll say so in writing. But when damage is storm-related and widespread, patching it can cost you twice: once now, and again when the claim window closes. Our photo documentation tells you which situation you're in, and if a claim makes sense, it's already the evidence file. Either way, by law your deductible is the only insurance cost a legitimate roofer will ever quote you.

Roof repair FAQs

What does a roof repair cost?

It depends on what's actually wrong, which is why the assessment comes first. You get a written scope and price before any work starts — no open-ended hourly surprises, and no charge for the diagnosis itself.

Do you repair roofs you didn't install?

Yes — most of the roofs we repair were installed by someone else. We work on asphalt shingle, metal, and flat systems, and we'll tell you honestly if an existing roof is worth repairing.

Is a small leak really urgent?

More than it looks. By the time a stain shows on the ceiling, water has usually been in the decking and insulation for a while — and wet decking turns a cheap repair into a structural one. Small leak, quick fix; old leak, expensive fix.

Will insurance cover my repair?

Sometimes. Storm-related damage can be claim-worthy; wear and age aren't. Our assessment documents which one you have, and we'll tell you straight when a repair is too small to be worth a claim — filing one anyway can cost you more than the fix.

How fast can you get here?

Tell us it's actively leaking and we'll prioritize you. For everything else, assessments are usually scheduled within days — and tarping or temporary waterproofing can buy time when weather is on the way.
